Nway, there are contracts and SLAs that KDN has signed directly with it's customers, I wonder whether such contracts are transferable, or new ones will have to be drafted.

Lets not speculate. Kdn has moved some of its staff to sgk to ensure that the products and their customers are in good hands. The process might not be smooth as John noted, our legal depart is working on the transfers. SGK is our retail arm, but kdn partners with other ISP's and supports them. Thank you guys for raising the issues, we monitored the threads, and we were able to confirm our realignments strategies. We are sure the move is a good one esp. to ISP's and our retail clients. The process might not be smooth as John noted, our legal depart is working on the transfers. SGK is our retail arm, but kdn partners with other ISP's and supports them. Thank you guys for raising the issues, we monitored the threads, and we were able to confirm our realignments strategies. We are sure the move is a good one esp. to ISP's and our retail clients.

I concur with Maina on this one. KDN is trying to show the realignment the company wants to get into, probably due to the CC etc problems encountered by the consumers. Instead of wait and see approach, some guys have gone to the point of settling some old time scores with KDN (read Susan). If KDN is not your preferred choice, don't discourage the ones who feel it can satisfy them. There are so many ISPs in Kenya and KDN is just one of them. Even a jilted lover, as Maina has put it reasons when things go awry - either fight for the love or pack bags and leave.

I dont know why guys are personalizing KDN issues with Susan, I dont see what warrants attack on her character and career, she is juts doing her part like Rita does for Orange. If you did not get her explanation, ask for clarification, not blame it on her job description. I thought Skunks were better than this. Be objective, not subjective. KDN is lucky its getting public feedback. Imagine what people say in their offices, homes and pubs. A PR managers job is to deal with things like this in the best way possible. But you cannot wish it away. if people are dissatisfied, unless you are working with a monopoly you better shape up. Ive never bothered to call KDN for service and its largely because of what ive read on this list. Im on of the FEW who dares speak about it publicly. Stephen, I can see she replied to some mails so that means we are being ignored. I think the major problem is a question of ownership. I saw a mail on a different mailing list where someone called safaricom from a zain line and was told off. Maybe KDN needs someone who will take personal ownership of the brand and 'die' with it at least in skunkworks.
