Its been like 3 weeks now and I have no internet at home .. each time I call they say the BTS is being Swapped .. Kwani how long does this take ??? and now I have to pay for a Full month of no service .... Anyone getting the Same response from them ?? Does CCK check the quality of service of the ISPs like it does with the Telcos ? Where is ZUKU support ... -- Watson Kambo

If watson paid for a month and has not had service for three weeks.....and by Zuku's own admission there was a problem. Then Watson does not owe,them...he is yet to receive service for the payment he made.Now that the service is up....he should get 1 months service before its due again. They have a term in contracts called '*force majeure*' which basically means that the company bears no liability for outages caused by natural phenomena or 'Act of God.' The company will argue that what caused the base station to go down was actually an 'Act of God' and so it does not owe Watson anything.

They will also argue that a reduction in customer base and an increase in one of their competetiors has also been caused bay a similar act of God

That is a valid cause for lack of service from zuku...though they were paid This pay with no service has happened to a number of first time zuku subscribers i know They get paid, check in, do a site survey, then when they find out that they cannot deliver the service to the clients location they start playing hide and seek at the clients cost that lasts for months. The game ends only when they find out that the client is capable of financing legal action

From the way things look, he does not appear to have knowledge of any "demand for payment" (aka Invoice).

me thinks Watsons' subscription expired while the service was down he's just been told service is now up, so pay up and claim the lost time (in this case 1wk) did he have a fault ticket that they failed to update when service was restored? Well invoice or not pay in advance thats what the contract says. Once can demand refund in cases of service interruption as articulated on the contract.
