This is a stupid reason for rejecting an e-mail at server level since it has no way of causing any damage, bar for giving hard time to the final reader. The solution to your problems are not quite clear if you don't let us know everything there is. Here are two servers involved: Your MDaemon and Wananchi's Exim/Postfix probably. Has nothing to do with Wananchi or anyone else for that matter, but that is suspect, as a direct SMTP test (as shown by Muchai) indicates the address does exist. The problem you had with Wananchi is quite separate and should be dealt with separately. Now, if only you could get AK to have an rDNS record for your domain, if you are sending out e-mails directly from MDaemon to the final destination, you'd be a happy man. It does not matter though, if you use a smart host delivery config in MDaemon. Muchai,s explanation is right, the only other explanation is that AK servers could have been relaying (after their MXs receive the emails from the Internet) to the wrong POP/IMAP servers.
rDNS actually exists; akamiru@akamiru:~$ host 41.215.59.106 106.59.215.41.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer mail.pasicoea.com. akamiru@akamiru:~$ host mail.pasicoea.com mail.pasicoea.com has address 41.215.59.106
Only problem is the configured hostname on the server, pasico-east-africa.com should be mail.pasicoea.com.

@Omondi, IMO the main core problem of most mail server setups is REVERSE DNS. If this is not done correctly, you will always get problems. Rule of thumb is this : If your Reverse DNS is an Ip address, mambo mbaya! Pls check this first, use something like Mxtool. Have you done this check and is reverse dns a domain/machine name? HTHs.

Check with your upstream ISP. They're the only visible MXes for your domain. Some mail server seems to think it's the final destination server - and of course your users don't exist there.
