Airtel Sendi So many Unnecessary Emails to Clients

Hi Do we have Anyone on the list who works for Airtel? If so, let him/her advise Airtime that they are slowly becoming nuisances by sending so many messages about Airtel Money, Promotion blah bla blah! No wonder SFC is charging expensive and everyone is still hooked up there. Anyone else on the list who share the same sentiments? -- Jac

Plus the very irritating automated calls. On Wed, Jan 11, 2012 at 2:59 PM, Jac <jack.gathoni@gmail.com> wrote:

For the automated calls, just put their no on your phones black list/ reject list that way you are less irritated and spend less time rushing to your phone only to find its them. For the text messages if you have a smart phone, there are apps for efficiently deleting any incoming messages whose alpha-numeric sender is *airtel If using the kabambe cousins for airtel like I do, ask your friends not to send u msgs on airtel for chances are u'll find it after afew days :( Rgds *_______________________________________________________________ We must Keep on, * On Wed, Jan 11, 2012 at 3:18 PM, Brian Ngure <brian@pixie.co.ke> wrote:

@Joe: Nah nah nah get you words right that geek stuff is for you and me, that smart phone thing is for just a few joe, give it to the more ordinary pple not able to access Skunk like me and you that is how we give back to the society we help interpret. Airtel should not send unsolicited sms or call you, since they may also need to inform you minimal is the sms and calls they should do. NOT THE SUBSCRIBER to SCREEN. Nah @Jack: I suggest you call the customer care and inform them to unsubscribe you account from the sms, I hope you find one who knows what to do coz most don't, they will tell you ok and you will still receive. I had to put one on YU network on task and asked them to choose me as client or I exit and they sms non existing line, They did. I wish you luck, don be hush though you can laugh as you threaten them hahhahahhahhahahh is called killing while you smile. On Wed, Jan 11, 2012 at 3:35 PM, joe mwirigi <joemwirigi@gmail.com> wrote:

The txt messages are not that many, but irritating all the same. But the big question, given your "No wonder SFC is charging expensive and everyone is still hooked up there", is what is stopping you from dropping their line. It's a better way to detest their services than complaining because, IMHO, their rights to send you these TXTs must be somewhere in the fineprint. @wash fine print or none, they take their subscribers to all suffer from Amnesia. Well to be fair even safaricom and orange spam with all manner of texts but I asked them to stop and they did. If you ask to be excluded and they refuse or ignore then that's how much they value you as a client. You only suffer because you allow it. On 1/11/12, joe mwirigi <joemwirigi@gmail.com> wrote:

I keep wondering, how much those SMS are so important to Airtel that they risk the wrath of their customers. Sending SMS must earn them quite some revenue ...

I asked safcom once not to send and they quit. Did the same with airtel and nothing happens. Every 2 or so months, its like they forget or just assume I forgot and they start sending again! On 12 January 2012 10:00, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:
