OT: Madagascar Visa

Hi Guys, Anyone been to Madagascar recently? Can't find any relevant information on Visa requirements for Kenyan passport holders anywhere (including their consular who keep referring me to the embassy in Kenya that doesn't exist!) Thx ᐧ

Nimesaidiwa. No visa required, just return ticket required. On 28 June 2016 at 17:09, Jangita <jangita.nyagudi@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi Interesting. I've just been adviced by two guys actually in Madagascar that they didn't need one for short stay, used to be visa on arrival for Kenyan passport holders but was removed this year, and that I don't . I've just sent them the document and they said its for "Nationals of Countries that require Visa to Madagascar" of which Kenya isn't one... and the doc is 2013? What's your source? When did you last visit Tana? On 28 June 2016 at 20:02, Wilson Bandi <bandson67@gmail.com> wrote:

I' was there recently.... - If visiting as a tourist, no VISA required, they just stamp your passport on entry. - If visiting there on business.... your host needs to get you some document referred to as GOP. It costs $130. Tony.

Sorry, disregard my last mail. It was in reference to Seychelles.

Hi, Last time I did Madagascar was October 2014, and I got the visa on arrival for USD 50. Things could have changed since, so I suggest you ask your travel agent. If you call Elite Travel (HRG Kenya) and ask for Nicholas he can advise. Regards, Steve On 28 Jun 2016 21:44, "Tony Likhanga via skunkworks" < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Happily in Antananarivo. According to the guy who stamped my passport on arrival, a visa is required for _all_ nationals since Jan this year. You can get it on entry @ 25 euros < 30 days stay, more for longer, or you can get it at a Malagasy high commission or embassy at your country of residence before you leave. It's more about the 25 euros than anything else so everyone goes through. Direct from the gatekeeper's mouth! ᐧ

Gracias for the headsup. It'll come in hand for sure. Tony. On 1 Jul 2016 16:39, "Jangita via skunkworks" <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
