Good People, Does anyone know where I can get a Fitbit(or any other fitness tracker) locally? One that monitors heart rate, sleep, etc, and has a mobile app for iOs or Android that I can use to sync the data on it to my phone via bluetooth. I've asked about it previously but didn't get the results. Gracias. ./muya

Hello Muya, I have fitbit flex which I no longer use. Works well only that I lost its charger. The cable costs less than $10 but I've been quite lazy to get it. If interested, let me know. It tracks steps, distance, calories burned, active minutes and sleep. You can sync with Bluetooth. On 1 Oct 2015 16:53, "Muya via skunkworks" <skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Don't know if this will help but i am using an android app called google fit and another called pacer. i find good fit more accurate and pacer is good coz i get to synchronize it with myfitnessapp that also help track calories consumed as well as lost when i exercise and walk. So far so good. I am sure they must have the IOS versions of the same. With Regards, Christine. On Thu, Oct 1, 2015 at 10:08 PM, Kakai Eugene via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

@Okechukwu In my opinion gps systems are not going anywhere until the phones can find a way to get location data via satellite (or rather without requring a network connection), and secondly not obliterate your battery when used for navigation. Then would I agree that Garmin and the rest should be afraid. Try using your phone to navigate from Maralal to Turkana, you soon realize your 100k iphone is a paper weight. Regards, John K. @John, We are already there You don't need network connectivity to use your phone for navigation. The GPS on you phone works fine. You just need a good Navigation app with offline maps Here Drive / Mapfactor and a few others work equally well with no network. The battery drain will be an issue nonetheless but just plug in and go. On Mon, Oct 5, 2015 at 1:07 PM, John K. via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

I still appreciate a good Navigation system, more so , a good in car, (built in ) navigation system, that i can update with the latest maps every couple months, or with new maps for new places before i drive there. That i can really appreciate. Addon devices will compete for my interest. On Mon, May 23, 2016 at 11:55 AM, Plugged PC <plugged.pc@gmail.com> wrote:

Got the Mi Band recently, the black one is very sleek with formal or casual look, it took atleast a week to monitor sleep cycles accurately - http://www.mi.com/sg/miband/#02 - works very well but only works with Xiaomi phones.

Good People,
Does anyone know where I can get a Fitbit(or any other fitness tracker) locally? One that monitors heart rate, sleep, etc, and has a mobile app for iOs or Android that I can use to sync the data on it to my phone via bluetooth.
I've asked about it previously but didn't get the results.
Gracias.

Good People, Allow me to revive this very old post. After looking for a Fitbit last year in vain, I managed to get one locally from this Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/DigiFit-Sports-and-Fitness-Accessories-961789933876... Go ye and prosper with thy FitBit! :) On 9 October 2015 at 08:19, Patrick Kariuki via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
