I still appreciate a good Navigation system,  more so , a good in car, (built in ) navigation system, that i can update with the latest maps every couple months, or with new maps for new places before i drive there.

That i can really appreciate.

Addon devices will compete for my interest.

@John, We are already there
You don't need network connectivity to use your phone for navigation.

The GPS on you phone works fine.
You just need a good Navigation app with offline maps

Here Drive / Mapfactor and a few others work equally well with no network.
The battery drain will be an issue nonetheless but just plug in and go.

@Okechukwu In my opinion gps systems are not going anywhere until the phones can find a way to get location data via satellite (or rather without requring a network connection), and secondly not obliterate your battery when used for navigation. Then would I agree that Garmin and the rest should be afraid.

Try using your phone to navigate from Maralal to Turkana, you soon realize your 100k iphone is a paper weight.

Apple watch works perfectly for me and syncs my health data with the fitbit app - I think the market of fitness trackers is going to die soon killed by smartwatches just like the navigation gadgets got killed by smartphones, IMHO

Good People,

Does anyone know where I can get a Fitbit(or any other fitness tracker) locally? One that monitors heart rate, sleep, etc, and has a mobile app for iOs or Android that I can use to sync the data on it to my phone via bluetooth.

I've asked about it previously but didn't get the results.

Gracias.
