
dear all, Kindly assist me with the following issue i am having installing moodle 2.6 on a centos 6.5 minimal install. I am using MariaDB as the database Error: Database connection failed It is possible that the database is overloaded or otherwise not running properly. Couple of ideas in my head. 1. You might be running mysql client but not the server. 2. If running on Lampp they normally have issues with mysqld.sock tunneling. Do not use mysql connector.
