Kindly assist me with the following issue i am having installing moodle 2.6 on a centos 6.5 minimal install. I am using MariaDB as the database

Error: Database connection failed

It is possible that the database is overloaded or otherwise not running properly.

The site administrator should also check that the database details have been correctly specified in config.php

tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log indicates the following error
