Element OS a Beautiful, Elegant OS

Just installed Element OS Luna and all i can say is that it looks extremely Beautiful. 98% Mac plus it is extremely super fast. For once i can use a linux system without cringing at the fonts or feeling lost in the interface. I was on OSX moved to Windows Now going to Linux I actually hate the new OSX interfaces from Mavericks with all the transparency thingy. My best OS interface was OSX tiger with the metallic brush metal finish. Unfrotunatly my photoshop, 3DSMax run on windows only so would have to dual boot. But for application system dev. its going to be Element OS. MK

They say the best apps are the ones you use more often... but you might want to try Blender and Gimp as alternatives and build a reputation as the lone designer in production studios :-) On Fri, Sep 12, 2014 at 9:44 AM, Mugambi Kimathi via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Don't see much difference between Element OS and Gnome 3. As Mugambi points out, there's even a greater challenge of familiarity - software and settings and doing things like you are used to. People are scared of change. The biggest Linux challenge is setting up stuff and as On Friday, 12 September 2014, Patrick Kariuki via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
