They say the best apps are the ones you use more often... but you might want to try Blender and Gimp as alternatives and build a reputation as the lone designer in production studios :-)

I actually hate the new OSX interfaces from Mavericks with all the transparency thingy. My best OS interface was OSX tiger with the metallic brush metal finish.


Unfrotunatly my photoshop, 3DSMax run on windows only so would have to dual boot. But for application system dev. its going to be Element OS.
