I would expect them to pay the KRA the required Ksh. 500/- from their pocket and I reimburse (+ fee for their service) when they give me the KRA printout with the details. Or you could just show up at KRA; at the place they line up for car-search.. you will find these guys hanging out in the hallway... And they will approach you; and you could talk to them..

I don't understand why KRA cannot offer the service online. This is the easiest thing to do. They already have the database, so they just have to provide a search form on their online portal. @Shadrack why would anyone want a certified and stamped copy when the printout (can) clearly show (on the printed page header) that it was downloaded from KRA website? In lots of stuff in this world mostly in the third world and especially in Kenya, a lot of people thrive on the in-efficiency of which creates opportunities for free and easy money for them as well as losses, corruption, etc. It's not as if people have not requested/suggested online searches or some average IT guy at KRA has not forwarded the idea to their boss My top 3 most glaring inefficient departments in government are the following: 1. Finance; read KRA, KPA, CBK, etc 2. Health; read MoH, NHIF, etc 3. Land; read Ministry of Lands Kenya Law Report; kenyalaw.org <%20http://www.kenyalaw.org> sorted the mess at the Judiciary and here we are 5 or so years later on still doing manual searches at KRA!
