Are some skunks more skunker than others?

Hi, I am tired of starting threads on this list and not having them posted. The last threads I have posted are not even Off Topic but they are not posted. Are posts first put on an embargo, then evaluated and then approved for posting or what? And what criteria is used? I have seen the quality of some of the posts to be wanting, but they still manage to get through...whilst mine do not. Are some skunks more skunker than others? Timo.

That's true Timothy, I also asked a query on ubuntu and wndows dual boot issues for like thrice and no one has ever responded..just what is happening on the back end guys?!!! On Fri, Feb 25, 2011 at 7:15 PM, Timothy Mutugi <timothymutugi@gmail.com>wrote:

*I have joined an Ubuntu work station to Active Directory using likewise-open.

There is the possibility that: - no one responded. - your post was too large - post for some reason went into the spam box. - your post happened to share a subject with a topic that was blacklisted for one reason or another. - Given that it's a mailing list mail delivery is automated. Topic filtering is typically after the fact. If none of the above apply, then my guess would be that mailman is moody :-(. **Sent from my iPhone** On Feb 25, 2011, at 7:15 PM, Timothy Mutugi <timothymutugi@gmail.com> wrote:

I think I need to clarify something: 1. The posts I am referring to are 1 sentence posts and 101% relevant to the list. 2. The posts I am referring to have not attachments whatsoever. 3. The posts I am referring to disappear in thin air and are either not captured by the mailing list system or are put on an embargo (manually by a mod or otherwise) 4. The post has to at least appear on the list so that people can respond, therefore the issue of other skunks not replying does not arise. I have no self esteem problems and so I do not mind if people reply or not. WHAT I AM SAYING IS THAT SOME URGENT / RELEVANT / IMPORTANT POSTS ARE BEING DROPPED BY THE DAMN MAILMAN SOFTWARE !
