List, Has anyone read The E.Standard's article on the new by-laws??? There is a section on dogs "No owner of a dog shall permit or cause the dog to cry or bark in a manner that disturbs the quite, peace, rest comfort of the neighborhood." Now Philip as you acquire your new puppy, please dont cause it to bark by staring at it rudely or maybe giving it a name which suites a cat...otherwise its gonna cry and council askaris will respond. Seriously, though.... I once had a neighbor who had this cock with an annoying habit of crowing at 4:30 am sharp. Worst thing was it was caged on the side of their compound right next to my bedroom window... .....and now it gets worse. My current neighbor has a dog that keeps us awake sometimes. But the damned thing didn't bark when some thugs scaled my wall, stepping on its kennel to be able to reach the top of the wall!! I hope the council gets that one. BR, S
The laws are targeted at Security Firms and Maasai brotherhoods making the jump to the former. I know of three cases where a dog pound has been placed smack in the middle of a residential area. most times one cannot prevent a dog from barking or crying, you may muzzle the dog but it can still whine/cry through the muzzle n further more security firm dogs should be put in a different category coz other dog owners keep the dogs as pets. Otherwise, why would I acquire a dog ?

After a serious experiment and research - he was able to come up with a hardware/software that interprets the dogs barks into human audible barks.
He was sorely disappointed. The dog was an idiot.
It kept repeating the same words about some 'thing' it had seen.
[so i wonder what and how many smses one will be receiving per day from a dog...and what will they all be about ?]
