Dear Skunks I am having an issue with a particular account. Its bizarre. It's set up correctly, with the correct POP3 ans SMTP servers settings. Tests are successful. This account can receive mails. When sending emails, they clear out of the outbox and move to the sent items folder, which means they are sent. BUT, the recipients don't receive them. I have tried setting up on another machine, uninstalling the antivirus, changing from 2007 to 2013, still nothing is happening. We use network solutions. I had similar problems when I was using EASYCGI, Sometimes the mails will be sent or not. The problem could be you have a lot of Logos or pictures at your signature. if you do try removing them and try again sending. Such hosting solutions have a problem sending a lot of images on a mail. ALL outgoing mails...The thing is, they actually display on the sent items folder as sent. But they are not being received. and the issue is only on one account. all the rest are fine. Done and Done. Safaricom is our ISP and again, still send and its not being received. changing the machine, again not working. I'm wondering if this particular account has a problem. but what is confusing is, they are able to send through webmail. Your outgoing SMTP server is probably blacklisted, which explains why webmail works. Solution here is to contact your SMTP provider to whitelist their IP, or use the SMTP setting from your mail provider, assuming they are different from your ISP . Alternatively, you can purchase the services elsewhere if its your ISP who's your provider.

i also propose that you check the particular user's account setup, it could be that among the parameters, one of the standard setings is not so standard....for instance, if you are using linux+webmin to create a user and you put the user in a different group, other than mail... caveat: i have't used network solutions....
