Plan to binge on House of Cards this Sunday. Also got Netflix on my WDTV, however I use CactusVPN who have a smart dns feature which works like a charm. When you subscribe they give you a special IP to use as your DNS server, from there everything works like magic. Works on ipad, android, PC etc, also using their VPN torrents fly like never before, you can finish downloading episodes in like 15-20min. You can share with up to Five people, and since Netflix now prompts who's watching when you log in, it means your preferences won't get mixed up with theirs. There really isn't much to it really. Any dns unlock or smart dns service will get Netflix, hulu and other US only services working. You just set your dns server to what your provider gives you (unblock.us, cactusvpn.com etc) in your pc, tablet or device. You will probably have to pay a monthly or yearly fee for the service. I have been thinking about this while enjoying my drive home on the almost empty roads today (kumbe ilikuwa sikukuu leo for real?) and I am still wondering,how do they identify me when my IP is not static? Like I use Safaricom 3G (or even for those using Orange 3G/WCDMA), I put in the DNS entries, and pay for a subscription, how do they identify my router (I use DIR-825 at home) and tie it to my subscription??? MAC Address??

The total cost of buying the 50/- movies + paying for dstv/gotv etc makes it worth paying for internet + dns unlock worth it. And I bet most of us will pay for internet either way, so that's a sunk cost whether you'll opt for the dstv route or, the internet tv route. Hey Good that I am seeing this thread, I have a Sony Bravia Model KDL-42W670A (Terrestial 1 Digital TV), meaning cannot work on Kenya Digital waves(from my little understanding). I tweaked the DNS to the following Primary DNS: 41.223.53.128 Secondary DNS: 197.189.212.164I got these from some website, cant remember which to see if i can get the Hulu and Netflix app from Sony Entertainment but it did not work.
