Dear skunks. Advise on the above who gives a decent service locally on data center services. Not sure about: Queen Bee - a friend had to migrate a hosting from there to Int'l because service was not so good KDN - that they cannot give reliable links, can their hosting be any better? AK - ? IS - ? A common limitation on all the above is that they give ISP specific links, so what about redundancy? Anybody with some servers hosted locally that has a good report to give? BR, M. Mugo
Go for Internet Solutions... Power redundancy in all server cabinets & the links aren't half that bad! Been to the Sameer Business Park offices & what I can say is that their hosting environment potential is greatly under-utilized... Sent on the run, Please excuse errors & omissions! Have you asked them if they can allow you to bring in a secondary link to the co-lo facility? I think their reason for giving ISP specific links is the fact that they are not gonna invest in capacity from the other providers when no revenue is apparent on it, which is something even you wouldn't do.
