Hello Skunks. This is out of topic but can someone teach/clarify this to me. Example 6KG K-Gas refill price 1. Local Kiosk (Nje ya nyumba gas distributors ) they sold it at 1350 2. Keno/Kobil 1700 Why the difference? Is there a game behind this. Also why do others prefer Kgas,Meko gas, supa gas, e.t.c ? Elimisha mimi na wale wengine wako na maswali kama hii. -- Regards Memusi Communication is vital in this century....

I heard on the grapevine that those ones in the Kiosks may not be "full", as in they go to where they get the gas from and say, *weka 10kg* in a 13kg cylinder. Based on my observation, the cylinders from the petrol stations usually have a plastic seal, and those from Kiosks usually don't. On Mon, Feb 13, 2012 at 11:18 AM, Memusi <tonatech@gmail.com> wrote:

Oh well, then that means the gas kiosk @ my neighborhood is the culprit. On Mon, Feb 13, 2012 at 11:48 AM, Memusi <tonatech@gmail.com> wrote:

Usually when purchasing around some neighbourhoods the buyer insists on the cylinder being placed on a weighing scale. Note this means the scale becomes another point of manipulation. R D On Monday, February 13, 2012, Peter Karunyu wrote:

The seals in Kiosks are usually generic. I have come to learn that you can get counterfeits for any brand in Nairobi, unless you really know what you are buying,

Explains why my 13kg lasted only for a month, normally does three.. On Mon, Feb 13, 2012 at 12:44 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:

Guys, Remember the Nyeri Gas explosion Incidence? Gas from Jirani refills, is usually mixed with air so if measured it might even be heavier than usual weight, there for buyer be ware , always buy from petrol stations , On Mon, Feb 13, 2012 at 4:45 PM, Andrew Kerich <andykerich@gmail.com> wrote:

Talking of gas, is there an accurate way of determining when the gas is nearing depletion? Sometimes the flames turning yellowish does help but I should think there is a more accurate way. On 2/13/12, Joseph Maina <mainasoft00@gmail.com> wrote:

Tutn the gas full, if there isn't much difference in the intensity of the flame and gush of the gas, its is nearing depletion. Also , it takes longer to cook as it gets to depletion .
