Apparently you get Zuku PVR decoders -> http://www.zuku.co.ke/zuku-fiber/zuku-navigator.html BUT, you have to: 1. Buy them @4,999/- (not too unreasonable) 2. Pay for installation @3,999/- for new installation (a bit pricey but well....) or 3. Pay for a technician to come and upgrade your existing one @2,500 (very expensive for simply unscrewing the cable from the old one and screwing it into the new one, unless I am missing something!).
From the site: Can I get the PVR decoder from your offices and install it myself at my premises? No, once you make above charges, we will organize for a technician to visit your premises and have the installation done by our technician.

Still beats having to pay close to 40k to have the DStv Explora decoder installed. As for the upgrade fee, there might be more to be done other than just "unscrewing the cable from the old one and screwing it into the new one", but since this decoder appears to be for cable users alone, I can't imagine what else could need a technician to upgrade to work with the new decoder. *Kind Regards,* *Edwin Kyangangu* *- - - -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - * *Tel: +254723859559* *Skype: edutchz* *Email: mail@edwin.co.ke <mail@edwin.co.ke>* On Sat, Mar 29, 2014 at 12:02 AM, Brian Ngure <brian@pixie.co.ke> wrote:

Kwani the installation fee doesn't cover the technician? What is that fee for then? On Mar 29, 2014 8:19 AM, "Edwin Nguku" <edwinnguku@gmail.com> wrote:

Sign up for a new account and you will get the PVR + installation for 2,000. However the PVR will not come with a hard drive installed. On Mon, Mar 31, 2014 at 9:06 AM, Mark Mwangi <mwangy@gmail.com> wrote:
