Is it possible to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8.1? or must you have windows 8 to get 8.1?

BEEN TOLD THIS....did you all pay all this?? Murenga, You first have to download a Windows upgrade advisor. This will ensure that your hardware meets the minimum requirements for the upgrade as well as do a compatibility check. Plus there is a fee charged. I think it was $189 if I'm not wrong. Oh, almost forgot. You will need a Live account for the upgrade and some of the software installed (read apps in Win 8.1) may need reinstallation. You still pay for OS'es? If its for a corporate office, then pay away, if for personal use, there are lots of free ones all over! The live account is very easy to setup and yes, some of your software may be incompatible ./Ok3ch On Fri, Jan 31, 2014 at 2:04 PM, Yvonne Murenga <yvymurenga@gmail.com>wrote:
