Oh, almost forgot. You will need a Live account for the upgrade and some of the software installed (read apps in Win 8.1) may need reinstallation.BEEN TOLD THIS....did you all pay all this??You first have to download a Windows upgrade advisor. This will ensure that your hardware meets the minimum requirements for the upgrade as well as do a compatibility check. Plus there is a fee charged. I think it was $189 if I'm not wrong.
