Configuring outlook in proxy network
Hi Skunks, How do you configure outlook in a proxy network without the exchange server for the corporate mail. I've tried with no luck.. Regards.
Moses, you look you are too fresh, if you need assistance, let us know the type of proxy you are using. Its its a firewall i.e you can do destination nat to specific ports or source nats. Your question is too open. Its like asking someone directions to go to USA, without specifying the state, town, street and such.
You did follow MS HOWTO and it did not work??? Which one? I suppose the howto is Outlook/Exchange version specific. If I were you, I'd run a VPN Service where the exchange is and just train the users to be launching the VPN (IPSec or PPTP/L2TP - whichever you find easier) client instead of having a convoluted proxy setup.
