Debricking TP-LINK MR3040 3G-Wifi router

Hey Skunks, Haven't been on list for a while. I have a TP-LINK MR3040 router that I bricked on the very day that I purchased it. I was trying to install OpenWRT on it and I think I ran a wrong command because the device stopped responding after I rebooted. I bought a CA-42 USB-TTL converter cable but I just don't have the time to do a Uboot debricking of the device. Is there anyone on list who would be able to revive the device? I can provide you with the USB-TTL converter and a link from which to purchase the latest firmware for the device so you can debrick it. Talk to me offlist if you can do this. Regards, Me

Dude this procedure takes less than ten minutes to de-brink and install new firmware ... been in that state in the past ... did it in a very short while ... but maybe you do not have the solder kit I guess :-) ... and I never bought anything ... it was all for free ... For this particular router? Mind sharing the kit for ten minutes? :) My CA-42 has unfamiliar labels instead of VCC etc. What do you say? On Apr 9, 2013 7:00 PM, "Watson Kambo" <wkwats@gmail.com> wrote:
