I am a proud JOOMLA developer. Here's why:

Skunkworks mnachukianga Joomla sana sana. Some of you couldn't resist making a stab at the recent KRA website for being Joomla based, despite it being a marked improvement over the previous website. I believe Joomla is not a toy CMS like many of you would like to think, so here's why I am forging ahead with Joomla: http://www.a3webtech.com/index.php/compare-drupal-v-joomla-cms.html

@webmaster, I'm not a web dev but rather a potential systems dev and from my africa wide research today, I can say we are basically messed up by bad governance, corruption and bad policies that have literally stolen our capacity to ever do anything for generations beyond the commodity exchange barrier. Therefore as long as you can feed, clothe, educate and sustain your family off joomla, you are better off than many millions across the continent who cannot see a better day tomorrow because of screwed up govts and their reps . For this, I wish you success on your joomla journey. Do what you need to do. :-) On Fri, Jun 10, 2011 at 11:22 PM, Webmaster <webmaster@kenyanlyrics.com>wrote:

Joomla is a kick ass CMS. It is some developers who misuse to who should be shot with a water canon. A ninja Joomla will develop something like this <http://www.aixam.biz/>, an experienced Joomla dev will do sth like the KRA website<http://www.kra.go.ke/>, a Joomla dev who needs to be shot with a water canon will develop something like this <http://www.kenyaengineer.or.ke/>. One CMS with 3 totally different end results. On other matters, anyone know any techie @ KRA? There are some simple tweaks they can do to make their new site even faster.
