Hi Jimmy, That's the keyword here - security breach. To top that, confidentiality breach. I'd like a legal opinion here. My stand is that by sending me information in error, they're already in violation of their own stated terms and conditions of email transmission. Over and above that, I can prove that I have attempted to contact them in order to have this breach addressed to no avail. My only other option would be to contact the intended recipient directly, but I have no way of doing that. My posting these emails on the 'net will be an attempt to reach the individual whose confidentiality has been breached. Regards, Steve. Thats a Serious security breach. I thought there were standards that govern in what form banks can transmit data especially pertaining to customers. Most banks I've seen always password protect the file and they tell you the password is something like your birth year followed by the last 4 digits of your account number. which is still not very secure but atleast its a notch higher than plain simple files.
