Hi folks, I knew SW from way back but hadn't joined - perhaps I tried joining, got overwhelmed by the mail-frequency, and unsubscribed; my memories fail me, always. Now, I'm a perfect newbie here. However, I'm confused about what this forum is all about, is it all sorts of everything? From the list I can see firewall quotes, computer sales, Joomla queries, Safaricom, etc. To clean up the forum, I can suggest people may be trying out Quora <http://www.quora.com> - perfect for Q/A (I realize we've less Kenyans there) and good old Stack Overflow. Then perhaps to leave the forum for discussions... For instance, the discussion that drew my attention to join here was by one John K. on NCC's parking app. Regards, Nandaa -- *Nandaa Anthony,* *Software Architect, Tutor & Mentor.**Google+: *http://gplus.to/profnandaa *Blog: *www.nandaa.com <http://nandaa.com> *Quick Links:* sci.uonbi.ac.ke | www.deveint.com | www.gdgnairobi.info

Antony, You may need to stick around to understand what Skunkworks is about. It is just one of those things that can't be explained in words, you have to experience it. The forum doesn't require any cleanup. We welcome yours suggestion but we don't want to fix what is broken. The forum works perfect the way it is. A mix of dead serious technical discussions and off the cuff social discussions. There is even a late night puzzles about 'The Lady, The Shopkeeper and A Faker Not' that has kept folks awake for days. http://www.crazyengineers.com/threads/the-lady-the-shopkeeper-and-a-fake-not... There is even a WhatsApp group to boot. Namesto. On Wed, Mar 4, 2015 at 10:23 AM, Anthony Nandaa via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

No one stops anyone from being in all the forums and Q&A's I say - this is place for Kenyan/regional techies to hang out and just about anything technical goes. ./Ok3ch On Wed, Mar 4, 2015 at 8:23 AM, Anthony Nandaa via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
