Good people, Anyone know where I can get the owners/service/workshop/repair manual for a 2005 1.5L 2WD Subaru Impreza Sedan? The mighty Google and Nasioc have led me to one Ken Gilbert<http://ken-gilbert.com/impreza-manuals>, from whence I have found for 2004 and 2006. And most of the manuals on sale at ebay are for the 2.0L and 2.5L. And I don't know Japanese so cant google that side of the net And Subaru Kenya seem not to answer emails. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Peter, if you go through the manuals, you will realize that model difference doesn't really matter for owners manual until your need for the document becomes actual engine repairs. Please note, even if the car is left handed in the manual, it also applies for right handed models. Regards, Wilson. On Thu, Nov 8, 2012 at 5:03 PM, Peter Karunyu <pkarunyu@gmail.com> wrote:

Aaah, ok, I didn't know that. My noobie assumption was that the stress a turboéd engine goes through requires a bit more different engine oil, frequency of service etc, than a naturally aspirated one. But thanks all the same, will go through it. On Thu, Nov 8, 2012 at 5:08 PM, Wilson Bandi <bandson67@gmail.com> wrote:

Your assumption was right. You should use only pure synthetic oil or a sythetic blend that's recommended by the manufacturer for turbo vehicles. Note - recommended. Not all synthetic oils are the same. Frequency of service is not necessarily higher for a turbo engine - again, the manufacturer specs matter. So it's good that you're looking for a manual.
But thanks all the same, will go through it.
RHD/LHD differences would only be in terms of the location of stuff like headlamp/wiper switches, the steering column, dashboard etc. Engine/transmission/suspension are the same for RHD/LHD cars of the same model. I'm trying to dig up the site I got some Subaru Legacy manuals (full manuals, including repair info for every single part of the car, plus body/chassis repair info like jig points etc.) If I manage to do so I'll let you know. Unfortunately my manuals are useless for you :) BR S

Aaah, ok, I didn't know that.
My noobie assumption was that the stress a turboéd engine goes through requires a bit more different engine oil, frequency of service etc, than a naturally aspirated one.

Aaah, ok, I didn't know that.
My noobie assumption was that the stress a turboéd engine goes through requires a bit more different engine oil, frequency of service etc, than a naturally aspirated one.
Unfortunately my manuals are useless for you :) BR S _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke ------------ List info, subscribe/unsubscribe http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------ Skunkworks Rules http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24 <http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=94> &t=94 ------------ Other services @ http://my.co.ke _______________________________________________ Skunkworks mailing list Skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke ------------ List info, subscribe/unsubscribe http://lists.my.co.ke/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/skunkworks ------------ Skunkworks Rules http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24 <http://my.co.ke/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=94> &t=94 ------------ Other services @ http://my.co.ke
