Hi guys, Does anyone deal with or know where I can get a long distance wifi router to provide a range of about 50m radius and with good speeds. I am looking for something that can allow me to access a network between 2 buildings. I saw this device and thought something like this can help me: http://www.ampedwireless.com/products/r10000g.html Have a great day! Warm regards, Amarjit Singh Labhuram.

If it's not going through walls, I think 50m should be doable by most modern WAPs. If you want to be serious though, you probably want 'beam forming' technology that improves point to point connections. The new Airport Extreme with 802.11ac handles this: http://www.macworld.com/article/2044247/review-speedy-networking-makes-apple... --- Kili.io - OpenStack for Africa: https://angel.co/kili-io Musings: https://twitter.com/varud About Adam: https://www.linkedin.com/in/adamcnelson On Fri, Jul 19, 2013 at 9:32 AM, Amarjit Labhuram < amarjit.labhuram@gmail.com> wrote:

Hey guys, I was looking for a long range wifi zone rather than a point to point connection. Zone Infinity have given me something of what I was looking for. Its a D-Link DAP-3520/ENA -Wireless 300mbps 11N outdoor AP 2.4/5G PoE router that serves what I needed. Have a great day! Warm regards, Amarjit Singh Labhuram. The radius is 50m. I have mounted it outside the main house and it can reach across the lawn to the other building with a clear reception.
