Dear Friends, I have just started using twitter and I am kinda confused a bit but I think I am getting there soon. Now, there is this hashitagi that I have seen that is trending here in Nairobi: #NairobiSC An example if a twiti is as follows: -----example--- NairobiSC_GlobeCinem @NSC_GlobeCinema 2h [EST-MODERATE - 25.7km/h] changed from [SLOW] at Globe Cinema Rndbt exit to Tom Mboya St as of 09:25 #NairobiSC -----example--- I am just wondering what that means...is it the speed of the wind on that road or what? S.C is most lkely *Smart City* and the updates are coming from different parts of *Nairobi*, Kenya. It is highly probable that some automated system is sending the updates via different accounts on Twitter to benefit anyone interested in the information. Martin.

IBM has been using instrumentation and traffic cameras in conjunction with accessKenya to calculate traffic flow, and traffic estimate traffic in other adjacent roads based on some algorithms. They are able to convert the boxes (cars) from the speed cameras into binary data and do their computation.
