BD : Telkom to start 3G trials this week?
It already has 3g+ ( evdo ) and now to 3g for gsm platforms! :-) If anyone has details of the tests, please update us. Cheers.

@ Alex, I am still subscribed to that tariff. However they have been trying to convince people left, right & center to move to NIaje tariff to the point they have launched ziada points. @Justin, strange that it should be the opposite for you.. When did orange start 3g?
Ever since they first launched the 3G++, I tried to force my modem to accept only 3G on network type options, and I could get the UMTS. Also on my nokia phone it showed 3G and I have been using it ever since, untill the last two weeks it just disappeared.... anyway, I will give it a shot again, havent tried since then. by the way, They have given areas where you could get the coverage on their website or that is something different?

@Pius, for me personally Zuku Channels are a no-no. Primary reason is that they do not have an EPG. The issues of taking free-sat feeds and distributing them without EPG serves no purpose. You can add you own dish, except that west horizon you need larger dishes and there are plenty of sites that will give you the broadcaster info, lyngsat being one of them. ( I checked Zuku TV a few months ago, so someone should correct me on the EPG issue ) Regarding internet, well you have to make that choice. Many providers usually think that the more they give different tarrifs the better. Simple things like a working service can go along way to make a customer happy. Today I called orange kenya 5 times just to get instructions on how to upload my airtime to my cdma phone. Every one gave me a different method.And finally non worked.The instructions on the card dont work either. Someone promised to call me ...guess what? No one has called me. You can load with any of the Orange mobile or Telkom Fixed cards.
