So you buy these TVs and you also buy goggles for the whole family and guests you expect in your hse?? I still don't understand who needs such TVs. Can someone explain to me? -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube

Yes, you must have goggles... the blue and red on either side for the light spectrums... @ Watchman Can you organize ?? You are the importer in this list. === If you have a PS-3, then you are half-way there - all you need now is to get the blue-ray 3D movies, the goggles and this TV, whose price is ????? NB:- Remember; first adopters of technology usually pay a heavy price for research - buying this things two years from now will be a very good deal as compared to those who get it now. @Dennis K Please shed some light as to the affordability (or lack there of) of this 3D TV.

I would not rush to get this item, I think most electonic companies are cashing in on the 3G hype, how many movies are currently available in 3D??? not enough for me to buy this TV so i'll stick to the theatres for such an experience, as for now let me get to through the HD phrase with the likes of HD movies (rented, downloaded or otherwise) and DSTV HD content which a few months ago they were costing 50K, now they are going for 39K I think, i am sure they are headed for a lower price soon. -- ˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙˙ 'spɹɐƃǝɹ ıʞnɾu pıʌɐp

To answer your question.. The kinds of Sheldon Cooper, Leonard, Wolowitz and Koothrappali - of Big Bang Theory - Season 3 ep 18 .. Check time .. 00.02.00 min - It seems pretty cool watching 3D from the house - they are ducking the Avatar arrows ! [?]

I am thinking that in a few years time, the technology will advance to a point you will not need the glasses to view content in 3D. Ambitious

@dennis i cant wait for that. Ill definately have my petition ready to demand for a refund to all my lecturers in physics. :-) On Fri, Jul 23, 2010 at 2:55 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:

Areba, You can't do that!! You were never taking the lectures in order to wait for others to innovate, then you consume. The lecturers will rebut your demand for refund - they expected that you will be one of the guys who have created these technologies:-) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you have nothing good to say about someone, just shut up!." -- Lucky Dube

True!! A Kenyan chucking 400k for a TV? Errr, there are but surely ....

Is it truly possible to watch 3D without the spectacles from a 2D screen ??? Mabbe in a dark room with a holographic projector .... But I dont think its possible from a 2D screen, unless the TV has a 'halo' projection outside the 2D surface; which may also need a dark room because of the light spectrum used... mabbe I am wrong ? "Help me Ob Wan Kenobi, you are my only hope" said the tiny hologram.

For some crazy reason , I am thinking that there will be a technology that will come up with a complex screen that gives the illusion that what you are viewing is outside the screen, and in 3D. In Biology, there are hopes that in a few ages, man will adapt to no longer need 3D glasses... As for my lecturers, one of my lecturers once told a whole Computer Science class where 1/4 of the class was busy on Facebook that "A round trip is the time that it takes for the Sun to *go round * the earth, or something. I am not sure.." The poor class continued attending the class since the lecturer took roll calls. Half the class got graded 'E' and sat for retakes and this continued over several units happily ever after

you missed my point @wash. Im yet to see a television (a two domensional object) able to project an image enough to cheat my perception of space. that defies a lot of physics i was taught, which is why ill go ask for a nice refund plus accrued interest from whoever is the current bursar. :-) On Fri, Jul 23, 2010 at 3:37 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:

I happened to be at Sarit where I saw a senior PNU politician upon seeing the demo ordered for 2 on the spot. I overhead him saying hii ingine ni ya watoto. I happened to leave when he was asking how he can pay for them. It surprising the have pple so loaded to spen 800k on impulse.
