Hello guys, I just read a skunk on someone who was asking for a PMI Accredited institute in Kenya. I took my course at http://www.iapm.co.ke/ and just did my PMP exam on Monday 15th August 2011 and guess what, I PASSED :) Anyone who wants to be a PMP I recommend you try IAPM and believe you me you wont regret it. They have PMP trainers who are Subject Matter Experts in the field of Project Management, good study materials and a good learning environment. like most certifications, if doing it purely because of its marketability and money. Don't do it.On the other hand PMP is highly marketable especially if you have another complimenting discipline eg a doctor with PMP, or a technical guy with PMP, mostly its experiences with project management that count.
