Hi Alex, The plug-play modem software doesnt always work on Linux, but I'll tell you something that always works on linux : ppp or gnome-ppp or kppp (all birds of the feather). On most systems the modem dialer (ppp and its brethren) works seamlessly through NetworkManager applets. Click on the NetworkManager applet at the bottom -right corner and select the option to connect to "GSM broadband blah blah" or something to that effect --> an hour glass for a few seconds and then annotification "you are now connected to blah blah blah". Hi, You should be able to connect any modem GSM/CDMA using the network manager in Open Suse or any Linux Distro for that matter. Just right click on the Icon and setup your connection on the 'Mobile Broadband' tab. Better still you can download mobile partner UI from the net or usa the wvdial script. (google) Regards.
