wi-fi, I think only if the shop side has a static IP. Without that, perhaps he can arrange to have am application that runs as a service and send his the details of the IP address the terminal device has every few minutes. I don't know how the wifi assigns IP addresses and the length of the leases. Bandwidth on the wifi also matters for any meaningful video data. This is very possible, the basic requirements are quite simple;
- a CCTV camera or cameras(depending on coverage) that are capable of streaming the video over an IP link. - a reliable IP connection can be on Wi-fi or over point-to-point microwave etc. - You will also require software installed on the PC at the house to view, record and archive the stream. Most of the IP based CCTV cameras also support viewing directly from a browser. R D
