Hi skunks, I'm trying to set up Exchange mail on my colleague's Ideos phone. After putting in the email and password, the next page has a form for filling in the server name, the username and setting the SSL certificates On this page, there is a 'Next' button but no matter what mechanisms I use to press it, nothing happens. It doesn't look inactive so what could the problem be? Is it that the Ideos does not support Microsoft Exchange? Your comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, Exchange is supported. Make sure your username is in the form <domain-name>\<username>. You can get your exchange domain from your admin. Also, it is not recommended to check SSL unless your admin says it must. It usually bombs out at this point. Thanks Andrew. This is the part I was getting wrong <domain-name>\<username> Also, why is it not recommended to check the SSL?

Dunno why. Just saw that on a user guide. You can try and see if works. Haven't tested it myself. ====================== Andrew Wafula Wapakala Web: www.wertsoft.com MSN: a_wafula@hotmail.com MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/awafula Blog: http://thewert.blogspot.com/ ========================================================================== If you have made mistakes...there is always another chance for you... you may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down. - Mary Pickford "Great Minds Discuss Ideas; Average Minds Discuss Events; Small Minds Discuss People" On Thu, Mar 10, 2011 at 12:43 PM, <sheeroh@gmail.com> wrote:

It kept giving me a connection error, it was on a day when Safaricom internet was down. Haven't tried since. Will do so and let you know. Thanks.
