Whereas if i was anywhere in Europe or US with my international warranty i would get a replacement part for simple stuff like power adapters and battery replacements from the store (immediately) at no extra costs. My experience with Elite was as above so i ended up buying the part since a 2 week wait without a power adapter was not realistic. But thats how it is. The iPad is also officially not sold in Kenya, they just added 20 countries the other day and Kenya is still not among them. I bought mine in SA, not from an authorized dealer (the apple store at that time hadn't started selling) so I have a warranty for 1 HR with my vendor, who has a warranty with a vendor in the UK, and you can guess what happens when I have to replace anything.
