I did this 50+100+100 for 1000 which I used to buy 300MB. I got the 40 minutes and wondered how to use it because the line I had (always used in the modem/router) was supposedly a data-only line, until I tried calling using it! It called out!!! I asked safaricom CS and now they tell me it's normal line. I am not a sufcorn guy but sometime back i had the same problem after calling C.S they told me that on normal data billing the credo needs to be more that 2MB worth i.e 16 shillings.In other words browsing holds up 16bob so it doesn't go to a negative credo that's what they said.The trick here is to switch OFF/ON (other phones go to offline mode then online again no need for powering OFF ) and you credo will be free-ed.It works that what i do when thing are thick. Send a txt message with the word "balance" to 450. I think you can even send a blank msg and it will respond with the MB remaining. And now I have a question of my own - more like a thread hijack!
