You do net to get someone else to do the job. You get paid. You pay him/her. I mean, with this question, it seems your knowledge on networking is still very basic. You need someone to work under - as in Internship. On 12 September 2013 10:54, dennis kanja <kanjadennis@gmail.com> wrote:

Subcontracting is a good idea - but work with the person so you learn and then take a cut of the fee if you go down this route. However, with a small office, I would just do it wirelessly and do no cabling at all. You can buy a wireless router/firewall/WAP pretty much anywhere for 5k-10k Ksh and it will support 10-15 people no problem. There's no need for cabling. Unbox the device, plug it in, update the software/firmware, go through every page of the web interface and Google about everything you don't understand, then reboot (it's always good to do this before clients are on it in order to confirm that reboot works as expected). Also, buy a small UPS (650Kva) and have the bell disabled so it doesn't beep during power fluctuations (any shop that sells them can do it for you). Also, try charging more than you think you should. You'd be surprised how often you can get it if you're a good salesperson. -- Kili.io - OpenStack for Africa: kili.io Musings: twitter.com/varud <https://twitter.com/varud> About Adam: www.linkedin.com/in/adamcnelson On Thu, Sep 12, 2013 at 10:22 AM, maina <dmaishe@gmail.com> wrote:

am sure the firm will need extra services i.e active directory authentication, file services, mail service ,the list goes on and on .with a wap infrastructure this services can get messy especially if there try to access this resources concurrently um sure its not a cyber cafe.In short just subcontract the whole thing and learn from them, to avoid doing a dogdey job.

I mean, with this question, it seems your knowledge on networking is still very basic. You need someone to work under - as in Internship.
