The following will be helpful in your project:

1. Router (Cisco, LinkSys or D-Link).
   
2. Switch (Cisco or D-Link etc).
3. Cabling (
   CAT5 or CAT6).
4. Crimping tools (for terminating the cabling) .
5. Cable connectors (e.g RJ 45).

All are dependent the client's requirements...
