Recommendation for Dual-SIM phone

Hi guys, Please recommend a good dual-SIM phone, reasonably priced (preferably below 20K), good battery life, good camera, reasonable internal storage. Nokia XL seems out for me because of absence of Gorilla glass:) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 "I can't hear you -- I'm using the scrambler."

Below 25 k, gorilla glass is a rarity On 24 May 2014 18:42, "Odhiambo Washington" <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:

Moto G is still quite new, and looks good. I don't like the fact that battery is sealed (non-removable) and it is 5MP only... Otherwise it'a affordable on Amazon. On 25 May 2014 10:12, Martin G. Kamau <gachunga@gmail.com> wrote:

The sealing of the battery is a blessing .. in case someone dunks it in water. It is simply meant as a safeguard to make the phone more durable. The battery aside, Moto G is the best phone you can get at that price. I own one, and I love it. The only down side may be the lack of a micro-sd slot, especially for those who save lots of stuff on phone - but can you really exhaust 8gb or 16gb ? -- Ndungi Kyalo On 3 June 2014 14:20, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:

Is that the same reason Nexus 4, Lumia 920, etc have non-removable batteries? Assuming you'll use this phone until the battery starts becoming inefficient, what do you intend to do? Sell it, or get a battery replacement kit from where you sourced it? I had to do that for my Nexus 4, but I'd love to have a phone which is not allergic to Discovery Batteries which are available locally:) The storage is not an issue though. Motorola are launching a version of the Moto G 8gb with lte and an sd card slot. Maybe eventually there will be a dual sim version. On 3 June 2014 14:42, Odhiambo Washington <odhiambo@gmail.com> wrote:
Is that the same reason Nexus 4, Lumia 920, etc have non-removable batteries? Assuming you'll use this phone until the battery starts becoming inefficient, what do you intend to do? Sell it, or get a battery replacement kit from where you sourced it? I had to do that for my Nexus 4, but I'd love to have a phone which is not allergic to Discovery Batteries which are available locally:)
The storage is not an issue though.

Moto G is still quite new, and looks good. I don't like the fact that battery is sealed (non-removable) and it is 5MP only... Otherwise it'a affordable on Amazon.

Hi guys,
Please recommend a good dual-SIM phone, reasonably priced (preferably below 20K), good battery life, good camera, reasonable internal storage. Nokia XL seems out for me because of absence of Gorilla glass:)

I just took a quick trip down memory lane to the year 2000 when the Nokia 3310 was king and its amazing what little features we used to make do with - records for instance, 8 dialed, 8 received, 8 missed calls. Back then 20K was a really 'premium' phone; today when recommending a 20K phone you are always quick to caution on the limitations of the features. Technology giveth and technology taketh away!
