Hope it goes down on PC too, then i can get back to using Chrome without contributing to global warming and crashes

Hmmm, Flash on PC will not be going down in the next, say 10 years, this is why. HTML5 on Firefox is crappy. Firefox only plays .ogg files, which upto now, there is little support for conversions in most programming languages eg java. Html5 does not provide the quality like flash does. Flash is more secure than html5 and media companies with exclusive information do not want their content downloaded by people. If and when html5 meets these needs, is only when I see flash going bye bye On Wed, Nov 9, 2011 at 10:25 PM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:

The problem with Flash is that there are inconsistencies with the end-user experience with regards to resource consumption (eg on linux) and zero support on some platforms (i.e. Apple). If M$ is going the Apple way on its mobile devices with regards to Flash - and given that they are looking to streamline both their mobile and PC experiences as time goes...maybe Windows 9 might drop Flash support. Having said that, the packaging and security offered on swf and other assets to make it difficult to reverse-engineer stuff is still a big plus for Flash. If only they could address the resource hogging and stability issues on some platforms, then over time they could win back the friends who left the fold...

Once upon a time, Mac was not making them much money, and they ignored it.Steve Jobs got mad that he made a good Is that Macromedia never took seriously. When he came up with the iOs,he decided to exclude them, hence Adobe found themselves out of the mobile ecosystem. Companies have found a way to deliver the same content securely to iOs devices, without flash -- with Regards: blog.denniskioko.com <http://www.denniskioko.com/>

On the subject of iOs, someone asked me about Unix development, application development for the Mac. Is there anyone who handles Mac specific development projects? I may have a referral for you. Regards, William On Thu, Nov 10, 2011 at 10:08 AM, Dennis Kioko <dmbuvi@gmail.com> wrote:
