I think she first needs to decide what kind of programming she wants to do: Web, Mobile or Desktop; that is the most important thing first. I think the best college for Mobile programming training is eMobilis.

A laptop , a nice book and some fantastic interest and she will be on her way skool is just to get exposure and ideas ( so any skool can be okay ). my thought .

What does she want to be, a programmer or a software developer/engineer. Those are really different things. We have lots of programmers around but few developers/engineers. On Mon, Apr 23, 2012 at 10:04 AM, Benjamin <anangwe@gmail.com> wrote:

Thanks guys, i think its more of a programmer and going to college at this stage would be ideal so that she can get some exposure and basic skills (she has never done any form of programming before), then thereafter she can get all the books she needs to widen her knowledge base, isnt that a good idea?? I think her interest is more on computer programming. Thanks for all the positive responses Regards Alex On Mon, Apr 23, 2012 at 10:08 AM, solomon kariri <solomonkariri@gmail.com>wrote:

Hi, She needs to join google.com college of programming insanity. There she will be taught by the best teachers like w3schools and phpeveryday. later on stackoverflow will provide guidance and monitor her progress. Exams will be conducted by critics, hackers, bloggers and twitter. All drop outs will be faced by ridicule from peers. Cheating and collaboration is highly encouraged (lone students will be punished by receding hairlines and insanity). Only prerequisite is an A in passion. *Admission is on!!!!!!* Necessary materials will be provided by the Open Source Community. Looking forward to her application. Kind regards

Yea emobilis is great if she wants to work wit android. On Apr 23, 2012 9:55 AM, "Janet Ngugi" <janongush@gmail.com> wrote:
