Hey yall i've been having a special problem with one of my branches ,, the Wireless network goes from bad to pathetic during working hours , i suspect surrounding wifi netorks are in conflict with mine , question is: 1. How do i make sure that my wifi is not interfered with ,i have changed the channels after scanning the other wifi networks 2. Is there are solution that allows me to use the same channels but not get conflicts -- GG

Hi You can try resetting the WiFi device and reconfiguring it again with a different channel. That worked for me once. Kind Regards, Catherine Njoroge +254726794792 On Jul 28, 2015 1:50 PM, "geoffrey gitagia via skunkworks" < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

Hi Geoffrey, Unless the neighbouring wifis have the same ssid then your 'conflict' isnt possibble. Wifi adaptor/firmware cant be an issue if out of office hours it works fine. Possible reason for me is, some of yours users are consuming your bw excessively. Track and see the bw consumed by each user. Could be many issues: 1. Interference - from neigbhours, staff MiFis. microwave oven, bluetooth, etc 2. Load on the AP (you have not told us what hardware you are running. It could be a SOHO AP....) 3. Load on the Internet link (downloads, torrents, shared bandwidth plan, etc) Solution 1. Investigate 2. Invest in a professional AP that has dynamic interference rejection (Ruckus or Cisco) and has dual band (2.4 & 5 GHz) 3. Manage you Internet bandwidth - QoS, block torrents, etc (if you have Internet running off that WLAN) Kind regards, Bernard On Tue, Jul 28, 2015 at 3:50 PM, Tony Gacheru via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:

A user with a faulty Wi-Fi adapter is more like it. On 28 July 2015 at 16:35, Bernard Wanyama via skunkworks < skunkworks@lists.my.co.ke> wrote:
