Hi Geoffrey,

Unless the neighbouring wifis have the same ssid then your 'conflict' isnt possibble.
Wifi adaptor/firmware cant be an issue if out of office hours it works fine.
Possible reason for me is, some of yours users are consuming your bw excessively. 
Track and see the bw consumed by each user.
