Fw: Laptop Battle of the Brands: Dell vs. Toshiba

Toshiba, although shopping for a brand name only is not enough. You need to have your specific needs known also so that you do not buy a low spec good brand which is not as good as a high spec other brand. The 2nd last time I bought a laptop I bought a Dell because it had better specs than all the Toshibas available on the local market. Regards, Joshua Twinamasiko G. Alvin, Budget (as in the cost) is never "very important". The "features" you need are. The cost factor does not come first. -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Damn!!

Washington, In the real world, the cost factor is quite high up the list, and in some cases on top of the list. For example if you have $700 in your pocket, I would consider it a waste of time comparing the features of the Mac Air and the Dell Adamo at over $1,500. Regards, Joshua Twinamasiko G. When you work with "what I have in the pocket", then you really are not in a position to choose, for you are limited to what you have in the pocket. So you go asking: What laptop do you have that wouldn't cost me more than $700? However, when you need specific features, you put your foot down and look for the rest of the money:-) -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Damn!!

Trust me, sometimes its not as easy as that. Once in a while I see that happen where you tell someone that for the specs he wants he will have to increase his budget, and he actually goes back to get more money, but more often than not, people settle for what they can afford. That is how people who really want to drive Mercs end up driving Corollas until they can afford the Mercs. Regards, Joshua Twinamasiko G.
