Someone that understands networking please explain...

My Nanostation 2 is rated at the most 54Mbps, if you check the screenshot youll see that im torrenting at 75D 94U, and i checked, its BYTES , not bits... which translates to something very crazy... Could this mean equipment rating is not an exact science? -- Regards, Collins Areba. *Strategic Operations. * *Center for Renewable Alternatives* Old Ferry Road, off Msa Malindi Rd, | Kilifi, Kenya. +254 720 516758 /734 696821 | skype/gtalk/twitter: arebacollins **

I cannot see screen shots but you failed to mention if its KBps or MBps on our downloads. 75MBps translates to abt 600 Mbps which is not achievable even on fast Ethernet which in full duplex has 200Mbps. Just confirm if its KBps or Mbps, i believe its the former. -- Regards, Job Njogu Muriuki, Phone: (+254) - 772333075 | 736333075 Skype: heviejob | Yahoo: heviejob Address: 42665 00100 Nrb

All M series ubnt radios have a theoretical speed of 300Mbps not MBps and its supposed to be up and down combined and a throughput of 150Mbps for 2x2 chain mimo and 100Mbps for 1x1 chain. You cannot get those speeds in the real world especially on the 2.4ghz band. -- Regards, Job Njogu Muriuki, Phone: (+254) - 772333075 | 736333075 Skype: heviejob | Yahoo: heviejob Address: 42665 00100 Nrb
