It is purely a matter of preference. I normally install both Firefox and Chrome but I still find some users who prefer IE. How is chrome easier to manage in AD than IE? The Microsoft browser comes with its own integration for the corporate infrastructure and the integration you may have with chrome is through the internet properties within AD which directly address IE. In some situations, IE settings are used across all browsers such as proxy settings unless over-ridden.
