How is chrome easier to manage in AD than IE? The Microsoft browser comes with its own integration for the corporate infrastructure and the integration you may have with chrome is through the internet properties within AD which directly address IE. In some situations, IE settings are used across all browsers such as proxy settings unless over-ridden.

Speaking purely as a sysadmin, Chrome is easier to deploy and manage through AD in a M$ environment.
