Hi, I'm looking for DVDs of an offline version of Wikipedia. I'm willing to pay. You can send them to me through post office.

Hello Wayodi, Being a Wikipedian, am glad would like to have the Wikipedia DVDs to share freely in free knowledge. If you have high-speed internet I would advice you to download the copy from http://kiwix.org/index.php/Main_Page and the reader (called Kiwix) that you will need to read this format of file is also on the site. Nonetheless, If you are around NBO I can organise how I can hook you up with the DVD as I will be in town this coming Saturday where I shall be meeting some other Wikipedians. regards Stephen

@Stephen Thanks for your quick response. Unfortunately I have a bad internet connection and I stay in Kisumu, so the post office option is the only one that's viable. On 12/4/11, stephen wanjau <wanjaustev@gmail.com> wrote:

Ok. My connection here is not that decent either but I already have the copy of the Offline Wikipedia. So how do you intend to use this copy of offline Wikipedia on DVDs? We have a local group of Wikipedians who can assist you in case of anything like am doing right now. As for sending the copies I will communicate to you by the end of this week. Kindly bear with me. regards, stephen

@Stephen I just want to use it on my computer and also to make copies for some of my friends. Actually today I have just joined the Kenyan Wikimedia mailing list (WikimediaKE). Thanks for replying, I await your next response. On 12/4/11, stephen wanjau <wanjaustev@gmail.com> wrote:
