Hi, There is very little change from the old site. The only improvement I could immediately notice is the element of space and the menu. However, even when I hover on the menu, it sometimes does not clear to its original position. You may want to improve the header on the other pages as well. My verdict: Too simple. Will rather stay with the old site.
Overall, a very good website. The following can help a bit: 1. The fact that your source is legible means you have NOT compressed HTML. Since you using Joomla, JCH Optimize<http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/site-performance/12088>can help u there. 2. Have you run PageSpeed against that website? If you did, you'ld notice that you loading 13 CSS files, 11 Javscript files and 115 images (of which one is missing)! This is not exactly a good thing. You can try combining the CSS and JS files into as few files as possible. Are you familiar with CSS sprites? 3. Overall, your site is loading 144 resources! Or at least thats what Pingdom<http://tools.pingdom.com/?url=http://174.120.97.60/%7Epipeli/&treeview=0&column=objectID&order=1&type=0&save=false>tells me. That is not a good thing. 4. On my browser, on the first run, your site took 8.5 seconds to load. I hear that Google recommends 1.5 seconds. 5. I think the site is an improvement from the old one but i think we need to blend in the site you can also incorporate other colours(shades of grey would work) in the site and use less boxes the site seems squeezed.The banner i think you should use another logo that works with a white background check the brand guidelines.
